With every consultation, residents of Arborfield and other interested parties spend a lot of time composing letters detailing their comments on the proposals that have been made. However Wokingham Borough Council generally distills this information down into a very simplistic list, often grouping letters by subject, reducing often many pages of comment down to a few lines. Whilst the council will highlight that this provides an overview of the responses in an easily digestible form, it also loses a lot of the feelings expressed in the letters.
To give an idea of the level of feeling amongst local residents, with permission of the letter writers we are presenting a selection of the letters submitted below. Our thanks go to these local residents for being willing to share their letters with a wider audience.
